I am an alumna of the University of California, Irvine, Bachelor of Arts in literary journalism with a minor in criminology, law, and society. I have held an editor position at New University, the official newspaper of UCI, and maintained co-host duties of the UCI Office of Inclusive Excellence sponsored broadcast, The Welcome Table With Sydney and Tatum-winner of the CASE gold award. I am also the co-creator of Black Fam 2.5, a student-run podcast focused on redefining the minority experience by ensuring to represent it accurately. Additionally, I have a Master of Science in journalism with a news video emphasis from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism where I was a news anchor for Annenberg Media (ATVN) and Film Editor of the series In The AM With PM.
